1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Skaym Mold Studio website and software, including Freshie Mold Maker, Straw Topper Maker, Hair Slide Maker, Sign & Keychain Maker and Wax Melt Mold Maker. It explains the difference between your local creative files and the limited information that may be processed for website delivery, software downloads, purchases, licensing, support and security.

2. Your creative files stay local

Current Skaym maker apps perform their creative generation, preview and manufacturing/export workflows locally on your Windows PC. Imported SVG artwork, text/design content, generated STL or 3MF files, preview images, design colors and creative geometry are not uploaded to Skaym Mold Studio or Freemius for creative generation or export.

This does not mean that no information is ever processed. Account, payment, licensing, device, support and security information may still be processed where needed to provide the software and related services.

3. Local app settings

Skaym apps may save non-secret preferences locally on your PC, such as dimensions, units, color-palette choices and last-used folder locations. These local preferences support the desktop workflow and are not automatically uploaded as customer design content.

4. Information that may be processed

• Website technical data: IP address, browser/device information, request timing and security/log data handled by the hosting platform.
• Purchase and account data: information needed to process purchases, invoices, subscriptions, tax calculations, customer accounts or payments.
• License and device data: information needed to issue, activate, validate, deactivate or protect a software license, such as a software-generated device identifier, license status and provider installation/activation records.
• Support communications: information you choose to provide when asking for help.

5. Why information is processed

Information processed through the services described in this policy may be needed to deliver the website, process purchases, provide software access, operate licensing and activation, deliver downloads, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements.

6. Service providers

Freemius. For Skaym products sold through Freemius, purchases, billing, subscriptions, license delivery and related customer/account functions are handled through Freemius, which acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through its checkout.

Netlify. The Skaym Mold Studio website is hosted through Netlify, which may process technical request, device, IP-address, security and service-log information as part of delivering and protecting the website.

Cloudflare. Skaym Mold Studio uses Cloudflare infrastructure to securely deliver software downloads. Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, request timing, security and service-log information as part of file delivery and abuse protection.

Google / YouTube. Skaym Mold Studio uses Gmail for customer support and embeds YouTube demos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Google/YouTube may process technical request data when embedded content is loaded or played, and support emails are processed through Gmail.

7. Payments

Skaym Mold Studio does not directly receive or store your full payment-card details through the website. Payment processing is handled by the checkout/payment providers used by Freemius.

8. Cookies and analytics

The current site does not intentionally include advertising pixels or standalone third-party analytics scripts. Embedded YouTube content and hosting, checkout, customer-portal or security providers may use cookies, local storage or similar mechanisms where needed for their services.

9. Provider processing

Skaym Mold Studio relies on the service providers listed above for website hosting, checkout and licensing, software delivery, embedded video and support email. Information may be processed by those providers when needed to provide those services. Their handling of that information is also subject to their own privacy terms and legal obligations.

10. Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and the service handling it. Information processed by Freemius, Netlify, Cloudflare and Google/YouTube is subject to the retention practices and legal obligations of those providers.
